The pitch competition was an opportunity for the detainees to present their business pitch and the best pitch won a financial prize. This was a great opportunity for us because it allowed us to assist with planning a future after they are released. This competition gave detainees something to aspire to. If they have no plan or goal, they often return to jail. We received 40 pitch ideas.
