We champion entrepreneurship in our communities. On January 23, 2024, The Lewis Simmons Foundation partnered with the Woodforest Bank to host the Woodforest Foundry entrepreneur workshops where we help people turn their business ideas and goals into a reality. 40 people from all over Illinois attended our introductory session. We also hosted six (6) job training sessions and two (2) hiring events.
